This wiki is dedicated to David Lynch's 2006 film INLAND EMPIRE, easily his most impenetrable work since Eraserhead, and arguably his most ambitious in capturing the feeling of being trapped in a dream. I hope this wiki will serve as a resource similar to the terrific Lost on Mulholland Drive website (which appears to have very recently disappeared from the Internet, hopefully only temporarily). Lynch shuns analysis/dissection of his works, and would probably despise the very notion of a Wiki. However, for this film in particular, I believe it is valuable to trace the characters, themes, and other threads that run through the film, in order to enhance the viewing experiences of those who find themselves adrift in the film's sprawling three-hour world.
